The telecommunications giant is expected to sell for over PLN 16 bln
Poland’s largest mobile phone operator Polkomtel is up for sale with an estimated price tag of PLN 16-18 bln.
Approximately 20 companies are said to be interested in the telecom giant, operator of Poland’s biggest network ‘Plus’, including Spain’s Telefonica and Norway’s Telenor, according to business site Parkiet.
However Media tycoon Zygmunt Solorz-Zak (owner of Polsat TV and telecom operator Sferia) is reported to be the most likely to win the takeover bid, although the deadline for initial offers is thought to be February 21.
