Poland’s F1 driver, Robert Kubica is making a typically high-speed recovery after a horror crash while driving in a rally in Italy last Sunday, where his Skoda was kebabbed by a roadside barrier. In an interview with Przeglad Sportowy, Riccardo Ceccarelli, Lotus Renault GP’s team doctor, told the paper, “The doctors are surprised how much his condition has improved since Sunday. If he’d got to the hospital fifteen or twenty minutes later, he would have probably died from loss of blood. Now, despite the serious injuries, he’s doing well. The situation has changed remarkably in three days.”
