There are fears that a lack of hotels will embarrass Poland during EURO 2012
One of the host cities for next year’s European football championship could struggle to provide fans with a bed for the night.
The Wroclaw edition of Gazeta Wyborcza claims that stories about a dynamic and growing hotel sector “are a myth” and that for ordinary fans “finding a hotel room will be miracle” when the football finally kicks off.
Magdalena Piasecka, president of the Convention Bureau, the local agency responsible for the hotel accommodation for Euro 2012 in Wroclaw, said: “We have a problem with the accommodation for ordinary fans.”
