A pensioner from the northern town of Gizycko has been left with a broken set of false teeth after a nasty run in with a tough sausage.

Danuta Kolasinska (67), who exchanged her real dentures for a false set last year, was settling down for her dinner when she bit into a smoked sausage and heard her jaw crack.

“The sausage was fresh,” says the pensioner. “There is no reason why it should have been so hard.”

“If we receive a sample of the product we will investigate the case and carry out an inspection of the shop in question,” said Elzbieta Labaj a spokesperson for the local health authorities. ...
