The video shows a student dressed as the Pope slumped against a wall drunk
A group of students have sparked outrage after producing a film in which they pretend to be a drunken Pope.
The two-minute video shows the group of teenagers parading through the streets of the southern city of Jastrzebie Zdroj in a mock ‘Popemobile’ while one dressed as John Paul II waves at fellow drivers and pedestrians.
In addition to this, running alongside the car are four ‘security men’ dressed in suits and shades as church organ music plays in the background.
Towards the end of the film, the camera zooms in on the student dressed as the Pope as he sits slumped against a wall drunk with a bottle in his hand, and it is this scene that has riled the public the most.
