The miner was discovered in the mine after over a month
A missing miner has been found after spending 42 days underground as a result of being fired from his job.
Roman Zurek (47) had chosen to hide 750 meters underground in the southern city of Ruda Slaska in order to avoid having to confront his family.
He was eventually discovered this week after being reported missing on February 2, despite having not been seen since the middle of January, and is now recovering in hospital from dehydration.
