MPs have called for the head of LOT after 'gay' adverts

Law and Justice politicians have called for the sacking of the country’s national airline chief, claiming the company ran an advertisement portraying Poland as a haven for sex tourism.

Furious MPs from the main opposition party have demand the head of Marcin Pirog, the LOT president, after an advertisement appeared on a leading German travel website praising a “Polish speciality” of meeting young people in hotels.

In rather euphemistic language the advertisement also talked about “art, homosexuality and luxury hotels”: a possible reference to gay tourism that may have further inflamed Law and Justice (PiS) passions.
