Poles won't chase the Euro in Germany states Labour Minister Fedak
The Polish government has dismissed the notion that Poles will leave the country en masse when Germany opens its borders on May 1.
According to Jolanta Fedak, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, it is expected that the only major change will be that Poles who are already plying their trade in Germany will now legalise their jobs.
“Poles are already very familiar with working in the European market,” she told news agency PAP. “The chances of Germany witnessing a huge influx when the borders open are extremely unlikely. What is more likely is that Poles already working there will take advantage of the opportunity to legalise their positions.”
