Police are now trying to establish how the reptile ended up in Poland
Officials in the northern region of Warmia-Masuria have been left scratching their heads after a frozen crocodile was discovered this week in the local woods.
The reptile, which is 160 cm in length and weighs approximately 20 kg, was found near the village of Rychnowo by a shocked member of the general public who then alerted the authorities.
But despite an autopsy and follow up investigation, officials are still none the wiser as to how the frozen creature died or indeed how it ended up in the woodlands in the first place.
