Paedo ring off the streets

A gang of four paedophiles who sexually abused children as young as two have been sent down by a Gdansk court for between five and 15 years.

The four from the Kashubian town of Przodkowo near Kartuzy included the father of the abused children, an uncle and two women. Eugene Ciesielski, the father who lived with the children aged two to six years in a small village, received the toughest sentence and will spend the next 15 years behind bars.

The other members of the gang will serve between five and six years.

The ruling by the court came after the four had appealed against a previous guilty verdict from last year, claiming that some of the witness testimony was suspect. But this was ...
