LOT aims to establish itself as the largest Eastern Europe airline
Marcin Pirog, CEO of LOT airlines, came out this week and stated that the company will be the fastest-growing Eastern European airline.
Speaking at a recent press conference, and with a string of initiatives under his belt, Pirog also said that the carrier plans to put an end to its operating losses which this year were PLN 55 mln.
“We want to get ourselves into the position where we are the largest carrier in this part of the world, primarily by providing connections to the West,” he was reported as saying on TVN24.
“We are going to have a double-digit growth year on year, in terms of both revenue and profits.”
