Former patients of a Krakow-based Italian dentist are fighting to get their money back and their teeth repaired after it was revealed that the “dentist” had never been anywhere near dental school.

The bogus dentist Salvatore Z. apparently defrauded some patients by as much PLN 80,000 while subjecting them to treatment that often resulted in pain and damage. Some patients, desperate to get their teeth fixed, apparently even offered the quack cars and real estate as payment.

But it turned out that the man who liked to tout himself as a “miracle worker” in dental care and claimed he could cure incurable diseases had in fact nothing more than a high-school education. His Krakow cli ...
