Wojciech Szczesny’s dream rise to number one keeper at Arsenal, and the switch from loanee at Brentford to facing the might of Barcelona at the Nou Camp, all went a bit awry this Tuesday evening. It was only in the 19th minute that he dislocated the middle finger of his left hand in stopping a shot from Dani Alves. Szczesny is awaiting the results of tests, and if he has damaged the tendon, he will be out for the rest of the season.
