The new laws have caused a stir within the medical profession
Doctors have spoken out against new laws which now require patients to purchase vaccines manually from pharmacies before receiving injections.
The new rules, which apply for non-obligatory vaccines against the likes of jaundice or flu, mean that patients are now unable to buy the medication at GP surgeries - a move which has come in for much criticism from those in the National Health Foundation (NFZ).
“We cannot expect the patient to know all the details regarding the transportation and storing procedures of the vaccines,” says Jan Bondar, a spokesman for Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.
