China looks set to become the next big vodka market
Producers of vodka are looking to China which it believes will establish itself as a market leader in the next few years.
Figures put forward by the International Wine and Spirit Research state that the nation will purchase an estimated 7.7 billion litres of the wicked sauce in 2015 - an 8 percent increase from two years ago.
According to its figures, sales in Poland will have dropped by more than 4 percent to 313 million litres, despite the country being the world’s 14th biggest spirt market.
In major cities, such as Shanghai and Beijing, top brand vodkas (at around EUR 25 for 0.7 litres) currently sell well.
