TVN has come under fire for its decision to air X factor
A Law and Justice politician has blasted television network TVN for its decision to show popular show the X Factor on the anniversary of the Smolensk disaster.
Not mincing his words, Joachim Brudzinski castigated the network for deciding to air the glitzy programme highlighting acts from both the top and bottom of Poland’s talent pool, instead or marking the April 10 crash with a respectful air of solemnity.
“It epitomises the network’s insincere mourning” said Mr Brudzinski although he admitted that with TVN being a private channel there was nothing he or his party could do to prevent the broadcast. “I hope that viewers switch to another channel,” he added.
