The government states that domestic demand will boost the economy in the future years
The Ministry of Finance has stated that it expects the main engine of economic growth in the coming years to come from domestic demand, with an increased contribution coming from public investment.
According to TVN, Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski stated details regarding the growth were discussed this week, with a view to set down a basis for next year’s budget.
“This will help reduce the significant contribution to GDP growth from stocks, which last year amounted to 1.9 percentage points. It is expected that this year, contribution to GDP growth from changes to inventories will amount to around 0.2 percentage points,” he said.
