Drivers are asked to pray instead of paying
A church in the eastern city of Lublin has come up with a novel way of allowing residents to park on its land for free - by making them pray.
The Church of the Lord’s Supper has invited drivers struggling to find a place to leave their vehicle to make use of its grounds, as long as they promise to thank the Lord for looking after their car on the way in.
In order to help the them in their quest, two tables have been set up at the parking lot’s entrance where drivers are encouraged to bow their heads and repeat “Jesus I trust in you” three times.
