Two thirds of Poles are against the monument on Krakowskie Przedmiescie
A new report shows that over two-thirds of Poles are against the proposed Lech Kaczynski monument which is planned for Warsaw’s prestigious Krakowskie Przedmiescie.
According to the study, conducted by Millward Brown SMG / KRC, less than one quarter are in favour of the monument which, if gets the go-ahead, aims to commemorate the late president.
In total 30 percent were “against” the idea and 38 percent “strongly against” it, with only 14 percent “for” the move and 10 percent “strongly in favour”. Only 7 percent held no opinion.
