Nation Mourns 20 Dead Airmen

President Lech Kaczyński declared a three-day national period of mourning on Thursday, after 20 Polish Air Force men were killed in a plane crash in the north-west of Poland late on Jan. 23. Parliament held a minute of silence for the dead and Prime Minister Donald Tusk rushed to the site to talk with relatives and take charge of an initial investigation.
