Locals are trying to push Abdul out from his goat farm
A Muslim man has complained of harassment from the authorities and locals because of his bushy beard.
Abdul, a Dagestani citizen living near Warsaw, said that his luxuriant beard tends to set alarm bells ringing amongst Poles.
“People in Poland think if a Pole’s got a beard, that he’s OK because he’s either a priest or a homeless man,” he told the radio station TOK FM. “But if a Muslim has a beard, then he must be a terrorist. They are doing everything to drive me out.”
