Warsaw City Hall faces an ‘either or’ decision regarding the organisation of Euro 2012 or the timetable for the building of the second underground line, reports Zycie Warszawa. The plan hitherto was to proceed with work on the Dworzec Wilenski and Stadion stations on the line as far as possible, then stop, to enable traffic to use Targowa. “It’s already plain to see that it’s impossible. Targowa will just be a giant hole in the ground,” commented an engineer on the massive project.
