Chaos on Poland's eastern border slipped into a third week as the government struggled to resolve a pay battle with customs officers amid reports of drivers dying while waiting to cross into Belarus and Ukraine. Queues of lorries at Poland’s eastern Schengen frontier finally began to ease Thursday as customs officers went back to their desks despite a breakdown in wage talks, truck owners said.
