In his speech the President praised the nation for its strength
Bronislaw Komrowski was in Warsaw on Tuesday May 3 to pay a personal tribute to the 220th anniversary of the Polish Constitution.
Speaking from Plac Zamkowy the President said, “This is not just a document from the past, but an everlasting source of strength and wisdom for the people of Poland.”
He went on to say the constitution provided proof that the nation was able to act with responsibility and govern itself appropriately. This, he added, was not always an easy thing to do.
May 3 marks the anniversary of the ratification of the Polish Constitution of 1791, the second democratic constitution of its kind in the world after America. ...
