Harvest fears for farmers

Crops such as cherries are amongst those most likely to be ruined by the frost
Farmers up and down the country are expressing their fears that due to a recent drop in temperatures, part of their harvests may be damaged.
Major concerns lie with farms that have already blossomed early, with fruit such as peaches and cherries at the top of the list.
According to Polski Radio, some farmers have already complained about destroyed crops, especially in regions such as Silesia, Kujavia-Pomerania and Wielkopolska.
The problem not only lies in the reduced amount of stock produced, but due to the climate, the quality will also suffer, meaning a double-blow to those in the industry.
