FA chief Grzegorz Lato claims cheap tickets have been "nothing but trouble"

The Polish FA has announced a steep increase in ticket prices for the upcoming friendly against France, due to take place in the PGE Arena, Gdansk on June 9. Construction work is still underway at the stadium, but, following a spot check, FA chiefs Lato and Krecina confirmed the match would go ahead. “I’m amazed at the tempo of the work. It’s all going very efficiently and I’m certain that by June 9 it will all be ready. I also have the assurances of the city authorities,” Lato told reporters.
