The worker fell 30 metres to his death
A construction worker has died at Warsaw’s new National Stadium after falling 30 metres from scaffolding.
While exact details are still unknown, according to Polski Radio the man was working on the new football stadium’s glass roofing when he fell to his death.
“There is a committee now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. According to our information, the employee worked for Mostostal, the company responsible for the construction of the roof,” says Katarzyna Szydlowska, a spokesperson for the site.
