Poles need to start getting internet-savvy claims Michal Boni
Polish entrepreneurs are not capable of exploiting the full potential the internet offers them Council of Ministers head Michal Boni has stated.
According to reports on TVN, the minister claimed that “In general the country is not able to realise the economic effects of innovation”.
The comments come this week during a press conference report regarding Poland’s economy website, developed by Google Poland by the Boston Consulting Group.
According to statistics, in 2009 the internet was worth PLN 35.7 bln, accounting for approximately 2.7 percent of GDP, with this figure expected to rise to PLN 76.6 bln (4.1 percent) by 2015.
