The Prime Minister has criticised the Polish secret services after they launched a dawn raid on the flat belonging to the owner of a satirical website known for making fun of the president.
Donald Tusk said the ABW officers had been “overzealous” in their operation against Robert Frycz, who runs the AntyKomor.pl website, adding that they had “responded inadequately to the situation”.
The eager agents of law and order had gone into action owing to Mr Frycz apparently defaming the office of the president, an offence that can carry a three-year prison sentence in Poland.
