Cloud no cause for concern

The cloud has caused chaos for flights over Europe
The volcanic ash cloud which this week caused havoc in parts of Europe has been detected in the north-west of Poland, however officials have stated that it is not considered a threat to Polish air traffic.
According to reports by Polski Radio and daily Fakt, located at roughly 6,000 metres above ground, the cloud poses no threat as commercial flights travel above that height.
“Only in the north-western part of our airspace were traces of volcanic ash found and we informed the operators of this immediately,” Grzegorz Hlebowicz, a spokesman for the Polish Agency for Air Navigation said.
