The PM has come under fire for his 'sexist' comments
Feminists and women’s groups in Poland have condemned as “outrageous and unacceptable” remarks made by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a recent interview.
Mr Tusk was responding to a question asked by a female reporter over whether Poland’s preparations for the European Union presidency, which the county assumes in July, were “buttoned up”.
“I’m looking at the lady’s dress and ‘buttoning up’ is not what comes to mind,” replied an amused PM, before adding that he “liked the summertime”.
