Polish banks are spending a fortune on their celebrity adverting campaigns
Polish banks forked out a whopping PLN 237 mln on TV ad campaigns during the first four months of this year, with approximately half of that amount going to Polish celebrities.
So far, this figure signals a huge increase compared to the money paid to celebrities during 2010, which was an estimated PLN 190 in total.
Popular bank ING Bank Slaski has shelled out the most for its campaigns (a reported PLN 67.7 mln) which feature popular film star Marek Kondrat.
Other notable names include actor Hubert Urbanski who is part of Millennium Bank’s PLN 43.9 mln campaign and Piotr Fronczewski who endorses GetIn bank in its PLN 43.3 mln advertising blitz.
