The draft proposes a ban on all alcohol in stadiums
Sports fans have made it known that they wish to see a total ban on alcohol at stadiums during games.
According to daily Rzeczpospolita, the National Union of the Associations of Sports Supporters has drafted a ‘citizens’ initiative’ in which it has called for a complete ban on booze at major sporting events.
As it stands, spectators are able to drink alcoholic beverages in many of Poland’s grounds and stadiums, but some have claimed that this only encourages violence, particularly amongst football fans.
The draft needs to have the support of at least 100,000 citizens before it can be submitted to parliament. ...
