Ryszard Kalisz claims the former PM should stand trial
A leading left-wing MP called for Jaroslaw Kaczynski to stand trial before the constitutional tribunal for his apparent role in the death of a former government minister.Ryszard Kalisz, from the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) who also headed a parliamentary commission looking into the mysterious death of Barbara Blida, made the call in a 226-page report on the demise of the minister.
Former construction minister Barbara Blida committed suicide by shooting herself in the heart with a pistol in 2007 as her flat was raided by investigators probing alleged corruption in the coal mining industry.
