Polish students spend as little as 11 hours studying at home
Polish students spend more time working a part-time job than actually studying at home according to a new study printed in Rzeczpospolita.The statistics, released in a report by Eurostudent, showed that on average undergraduates work 19 hours a week at their job and spend only 11 hours studying after class.
In neighbouring Germany, students spend as little as seven hours each week in gainful employment and study between 14-17 hours at home.
The report also found that 50 percent of Polish students decided to live at home with their parents (compared to Italy’s 73 percent) and that only 2 percent chose to study abroad, due to language barriers and having to leave family behind.
