A Krakow man fell nearly 100 metres in the Tatra Mountains and has lived to tell the tale, the IAR news agency reported on Tuesday.

A Krakow man fell nearly 100 metres in the Tatra Mountains and has lived to tell the tale, the IAR news agency reported on Tuesday. Due to a helicopter malfunction, it took the TOPR rescue service two hours to get him down off the side of Kościelec where the accident took place and to hospital in Zakopane. The man, whose name has not been released, suffered only minor injuries and is expected to return to full health in a few months.
