According to the police, none of its men had been involved in any fight
A group of men have claimed they were attacked and beaten up by drunken off-duty policemen when a retirement party turned sour.
The men say they suffered injuries ranging from concussion to broken noses after the altercation with policeman outside a bar in the small southern town of Jaslo in a case that has already attracted the attention of the prosecutor’s office.
“Three policemen were drunk and were leaving the party, and they said something to us, but we just told them to take it easy,” said one of the victims. “But then one of them approached me, grabbed me, threw me to the ground and started beating me.
