Most people asked stated they were against joining the single currency
A new report has shown that the majority of Poles are positive about the country’s inclusion in the European Union.
The survey, conducted by Millward Brown SMG / KRC and printed in Gazeta Wyborcza, found that 87 percent of 18-24 year-olds could see strong benefits from being an EU member. The percentages dropped as the age groups rose, but still 66 percent of those aged 60 and over were positive.
However when quizzed on the benefits of joining the single currency, most of those asked stood firmly against it.
