Palikot in deep water

Political maverick Janusz Palikot found himself under the eagle eye of the anti-corruption agency following allegations of “irregularities” in his declaration of assets.

A former Civil Platform (PO) MP, Mr Palikot left a meeting with the CBA fuming over what he considered as the “incompetency” of the agency as it investigated whether the politician had omitted key assets in official declarations.

Mr Palikot rounded on his ex-PO colleagues Donald Tusk and Grzegorz Schetyna claiming they were waging a vendetta against him in revenge for him quitting PO after a high-profile spat to form his own party.
