The cameras will now be easier for drivers to spot
Speed cameras across Poland will soon be decked out in a bright, high-visibility livery of yellow as opposed to their current colour of dull battleship grey. The change comes following complaints that the boxes could not be seen and therefore failed to have a deterrent effect with drivers continuing to speed. The first ones to turn yellow will be in accident blackspots. The number of active speed cameras will also increase from the current figure of 75 to over 300, according to the General Directorate of Road Transport. ...
