Police have warned swimmers to be vigilant
Police have issued an appeal to swimmers to be extra careful after reports that almost 90 people have drowned so far this summer.
According to TVN24, since June 23 a total of 87 people have died in rivers and lakes across the country and of those, 10 were under the influence of alcohol.
Authorities are now asking people to look out for each other and stay safe. “If you see that someone is drunk and they want to go swimming, do the sensible thing and react,” said a spokesperson for the police. ...
