One hundred thousand leaflets will be dropped on the capital from a Hercules plane to encourage both residents and tourists to honour the 67 anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising with a minute’s silence this Monday at 5pm.“This project aims to honour the uprisers and remind Varsovians that when the sirens wail at 5pm, to stop and remember those who fought for the capital,” said Director of the Warsaw Uprising Museum Jan Oldakowski at a press conference this Wednesday.
