200 people were evacuated from the plane while bomb experts searched the passenger's luggage
Police have arrested a Polish man in Rio de Janerio this week after he threatened to blow up a plane before takeoff.
According to Polski Radio, the 34-year-old man was already onboard the TAM airlines plane (Brazil’s largest airline) with 200 other passengers when he made the announcement.
After evacuating the plane, bomb experts destroyed the man’s luggage despite finding nothing during a search.
The man, who has a full Brazilian work visa and is employed by energy giants Petrobras, now faces a potential five years behind bars. ...
