A 21-year-old woman was arrested this week for killing a pedestrian while driving with her leg in plaster.

Lucyna M. lost control of the BMW in the southern town of Kluczbork and ploughed into two people. One man, aged 27, was killed while the other aged 26 was rushed to hospital.

According to reports by TVN, the driver has no driving license and told police she had climbed behind the wheel because her friend was under the influence of alcohol.

She also told authorities she was pregnant, although this claim has since been proven to be false.

“We can confirm that the woman involved in the crash is in fact not pregnant,” said Lidia Sieradzka, a spokesperson from the Opole Prosecu ...
