The General Secretary of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) was allegedly removed from a plane this week for foul and drunken behaviour.

On Thursday, TVN24 reported that Zdzislaw Krecina, one of the top dogs within the Polish FA, was told to leave his flight after having consumed too much alcohol.

“He was totally drunk and he was cursing,” a passenger who witnessed the event told the news site. “It’s a shame that a man who represents Polish Football would behave in such a manner.”

According to the website, the situation began in the VIP lounge of the airport in Wroclaw, where it is believed Mr Krecina had been celebrating Poland’s 1-0 win over Georgia in Lubin the day ...
