The Grom leak has embarrased the government and the unit itself
An elite anti-terrorism regiment involved in special operations in Afghanistan has been embarrassed after detailed plans of one of their bases surfaced on the internet.
Showing all kinds of details an elite military unit would prefer to keep secret the leaked documents showed floor plans, the location of windows and corridors, training grounds and, perhaps most alarmingly, the location of armouries.
The Polish equivalent of Britain’s SAS, Grom has served in Afghanistan and Iraq so the security lapse has worried defence specialists.
