More foreigners come for jobs

The number of foreigners looking for work in Poland looks set to increase dramatically
Statistics show that by the end of this year, Poland will have employed twice as many foreign workers compared to 2010.
The report, printed in legal paper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, states that there was a huge increase during the first two quarters of this year in job applications from foreigners and that it looks likely that this will increase.
In total, approximately 163,900 applications were filed during the first half on the year, almost the same amount as the whole of last year (180,000).
The paper also states that the majority of new employees are likely to come from eastern countries such as Russia and Belarus.
