Wages are up according to statistics
A new report put out by the Central Statistics Office (GUS) states that Polish salaries are on the increase.
According to TVN, the average Polish salary in July stood at PLN 3,600 - an increase of 5.2 percent year or year.
“This data is consistent with our forecasts but it appears that the increase in wages each month are primarily due to one-off factors,” said Karolina Sedzimir, a economist from Bank PKO. “We’ve had to deal with additional payments, annual awards and the continuation of distribution. The latter were significantly higher than in previous months and also much higher than last year.”
