Eugeniusz Klopotek has sparked outrage with his recent comments
A politician has outraged members of the public by suggesting that it is perfectly acceptable to keeps dogs chained up on a permanent basis.
According to TVN24, Eugeniusz Klopotek of the Polish People’s Party (PSL) has defended the the party policy which states that keeping the animals on a chain is a ‘Polish tradition’.
“I appeal to those that use chains for their pets to make sure they use ones that are at least three meters long,” he told the news site.
He also went on to add that people in rural ares should be more responsible when it comes to the safety of children.
