Due to successful talks the proposed strike was cancelled
The two-day rail strikes due to start today (Friday) were cancelled earlier this week after seemingly successful talks between the PKP Board of Directors and union bosses.
According to reports on TVN24, PKP's head of PR Malgorzata Kuczewska-Laska stated that, “In addition to a monthly average increase of PLN 120 as of now, we’ve set an extra PLN 130 as of July next year and a further PLN 30 from the beginning of 2013.”
